Destruction Fist is a skill available to players of the knight class.

Description[]

Game Description: This skill makes you invincible for a given time while charging at the opponent to knock the opponent back.

Actual Description: Sieg slings his sword over his back, and delivers a devastating punch to a small area in front of him.

Colloquial names: d-fist, fist.

  • Number of hits: 1
  • Properties:
    • Knocks down
    • Knocks back
    • Causes collision damage
    • Kills air time (unless comboed after Whirlwind Wave)
    • Invincibility during the punch

General information[]

Destruction fist, along with Tia's Surprise Attack, deal more damage in a single hit than any other skill in the game. It has an unique property of being able to knock down just about every enemy that a knight can face (except most bosses). The hit will also throw victims back quite a distance, in addition, those flying victims also become projectiles that will hurt other enemy if they collide. Using this skill in a combo will always bring the target back down to ground level, making it a combo ender in just about all cases.

Stage usage[]

Destruction fist's knockdown property makes it particularly useful as a crowd clearer for when you and your party are getting swarmed and need some breathing space and some time to re-orient yourselves. It is also used to quickly deal a large amount of damage to a boss and get away before the boss decides to smash your face (Note: d-fisting is a very good way to attract aggro, but that should never stop anyone from using it!). Putting d-fist into a combo can make it easily do several thousand points of damage at the higher levels. Needless to say, not a lot of monsters can survive that kind of damage.

PvP usage[]

Destruction fist's use in PvP is pretty much the same as its use in staging, that is, to deal lots of damage in a short amount of time. With the new invincilbity frames, it can be used for a lot more things. A well timed DFist can stop a Dainn's BCB, his fire orbs, or punch right past AAS. It can be also used if your opponent gets a little too careless in throwing melee attacks out. DFist will also go through another DFist if timed right, a blow if timed right (the blow can also go through the DFist), or Whirlwind Wave. It can also be used while the opponent is trying to get up. It's also comboed after Whirlwind Wave, to do enormous amounts of damage: http://lunia.nexon.com/community/movie/pvp_league/read.asp?LeagueID=0&GotoPage=1&BoardID=319

Player opinion[]

I have yet to hear from anyone who would not max out this skill. Even though it's extremely mp intensive, it still bloody rocks.
